Sandown Town Council is delighted to announce that the Sandham Grounds Playzone is available to book FREE of charge during the school holidays, offering local children and young people a fantastic opportunity to get active, have fun and enjoy sport in a safe, modern facility.
From Monday to Saturday during the school holidays, residents can book the Playzone free of charge between 9:00am and 12:00pm via:

With demand expected to be high, Sandown Town Council is encouraging families and young people to secure their sessions as soon as possible.
Bookings are available in one-hour slots, with a maximum of one booking per person, per day to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy the facility.
A spokesperson for Sandown Town Council said:
“We’re thrilled to be offering free access to the Sandham Grounds PlayZone during the school holidays. It’s a fantastic opportunity for young people to stay active, enjoy some healthy competition, meet friends and make the most of this excellent community facility. Important Reminders for PlayZone Users
To help keep the PlayZone clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone, Sandown Town Council kindly asks users to note the following:
The PlayZone is intended for ball-based activities only, including football and netball.
- No food is permitted inside the PlayZone.
- Scooters, skateboards and similar wheeled equipment are not allowed. They damage the surface.
- Please respect your booking time and other users waiting to enjoy the facility.
