Working parties are groups of up to six councillors who come together to undertake work relating to projects within their particular workstream.
They offer the opportunity to use a variety of more diverse working methods, including making visits, obtaining expert advise, and involving residents, stakeholders and experts to encourage community participation and public engagement.
Working parties cannot make decisions, they make recommendations to full council.
