After some delay, the new toilets at St Johns Road in Sandown have been opened. In a first for the Island, the pay per use toilets, will accept many forms of contactless payment methods (contactless cards, applepay, google pay etc) as well as coins. Offering a disabled accessible unit as well as a unisex cubicle, they are similar to the ones recently installed at Shanklin that have been well received. Well lit, ventilated and heated during the colder months, they will provide Sandown’s residents and visitors with high quality public toilets that will stand the test of time and contribute to making Sandown a better place.
