Sandown Town Council has taken immediate action following vandalism that occurred during maintenance and repair works at the play zone at Sandham Grounds.
To protect the site and ensure works can continue safely and without further disruption, the Council has engaged Executive Command Security to secure the area this evening and throughout the duration of the repair programme.
These measures are being put in place to safeguard the play zone, support contractors, and minimise any further impact on the community while essential works are completed.
Sandown Town Council will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as works progress.
