Following concerns raised regarding odours associated with Sandown Wastewater Treatment Works, Southern Water have advised these have been passed to the Sandown WTW Site Manager for investigation and review.
In response, the Site Manager has put together a presentation explaining what is most likely causing the odour problems, what investigations have been carried out so far, and what actions are being taken to reduce the smell and prevent similar issues in the future

All reports are logged and passed to the relevant operational teams for investigation, helping to build an accurate picture of the extent and frequency of the issue and supporting ongoing improvements.
